Daily Body-Care Essentials List
Sunshine and Light
  • Expose 85% of your skin for 30 (light-skinned) - 2 hours (dark-skinned) a day in mid-day sun. Wait 30 to 60 minutes before
    washing the skin in any way. Light pink skin after sunning is ideal. Apply pure plant oil (almond, apricot, etc.) after 30-60 minutes.
  • Sunscreen should never be worn and sunglasses should only be worn for one reason: glare.
  • Consider buying full-spectrum light bulbs if you live in a cloudy place with a long winter (like Buffalo!).
  • Avoid exposure to (eyes, skin, air) fluorescent lights (unless they are full-spectrum) whenever possible, especially exposed soft-
    white plug-in tubes.


Oxygen and Nitric Oxide
  • Deep and slow rhythmical breathing at all times.
  • Humming helps with the production of Nitric Oxide, an essential chemical used in vasodilation.


Water
  • Minimal Purification: allow your tap water to sit for several hours so the chlorine evaporates.
  • Second-best Purification: filter your water with a commercial filter like Brita.
  • The Best Purification: Buy distilled water, or a reverse osmosis filter (that renatures the water), and remineralize these waters

  • Vegetable (expect for Extra Virgin Olive Oil) and Man-Made Oils.

Foods to Limit
  • Wheat (limit)
  • Corn (limit)
  • Honey, Blue Agave (limit)
  • Fruit (limit to two servings a day taken with good fats)
  • Grains (limit - properly soaked): quinoa, brown rice, amaranth, buckwheat, millet.
  • Nuts/Seeds (limit - properly soaked)
  • Starchy Vegetables (occasional)

Type of Diet and Ratios:
  • Eat a "traditional" diet. - high in good fats and oils, moderate protein, and low carbs.

Foods to Eat:
  • Free-range eggs: 4-5 a day. Raw!
  • Good Oils:
  •        Extra Virgin Olive Oil (for salads not cooking),
  •        Virgin expeller pressed Coconut Oil (for cooking - 3 tablespoons a day.)
  •        Walnut Oil (for cooking)
  •        Flaxseed or Borage Oil (supplement).
  • Good Fats: Raw or organic cultured butter, lard, tallow, fats from grass-fed meat.
  • Grass-fed Meat. - Beef, Buffalo, Turkey, Chicken, Venison, Lamb
  • Liver
  • Bone Broth Soups
  • Wild-caught Fish - Wild-caught Pacific Salmon, Ocean perch, Haddock, Tilapia, Sardines and Cod.
  • Dark leafy green vegetables. Especially spinach, kale, collard greens and swiss chard.
  • Vegetables, especially daily onions, and 3-5 garlic finely chopped garlic cloves.
  • Fermented Foods (also, ferment cruciferous vegetables).
  • Seaweed.
  • Herbs. - Parsley, Thyme, Oregano
  • Grapes with seeds and/or Lemon or Limes. - Two servings of grapes and eat the seeds, two lemons/limes (or with electrolyte
    drink)
  • Tomatoes, Currants, Apricots
  • Electrolyte Drink. - Celtic Sea Salt and Lemons added to remineralized purified water
  • Hot Peppers.
  • Apricot Kernels. - 7-10 a day
  • Celtic Sea Salt - 1 tspn a day
  • Chlorella and Chlorella Growth Factor.
  • Walnuts, Almonds, Pumpkin seeds.- (Properly prepared - see below.)
  • Teas - Pau d'arco, white tea, chamomile, rose hips, ginger, garlic.
  • Spices - especially Turmeric
  • Watermelon

Food Preparation and Combination
  • Buy organic whenever possible.
  • Wash all non-organic vegetables especially vegetables and fruits with edible surfaces (i.e., you don't peel).
  • Lightly cook eggs and red meat. Cook them in the oils listed above.
  • Cook vegetables until texture changes. Or ferment
  • Thoroughly chew all food.
  • Soak all grains for at least 7 hours in acidulated water (add 1 tablespoon of lime or lemon juice for every cup of soaking water.
    Soak oats for 24 hours. Cover all lightly.
  • Soak all seeds/nuts (except walnuts) in 1/4 tspn of celtic sea salt for one cup of soaking water. Cover lightly.
  • Never use a microwave to cook or re-heat food.
  • Try to avoid all food packaged in aluminum (cans). Never scrape an aluminum can. Avoid using aluminum foil.
  • Do not put hot foods into a plastic container for storage. Wait for it to cool down.
  • Use high quality stainless steel cookware, or alternatives. Do not use Teflon, Aluminum or Copper pans.
  • Combine foods that promote healthy digestion.
  1. Do not combine eating lemons/limes or melons with other foods.
  2. Non-starchy vegetables combine with all foods.
  3. Fats and oils combine with all foods.
  4. Do not combine protein foods with starchy vegetables or carbohydrate foods.
  5. Eat carbohydrate/fruits with oils and fats like butter and coconut.


Daily Supplements
Vitamins (Vitamin K can easily be obtained from eating several servings of vegetables a day.)
Minerals:
Essential Fatty Acids
  • Cod liver oil in the winter (because it also has D3 and Vitamin A)
  • Krill Oil in the summer, if you get sunlight exposure (separate A Vitamin above)!

Oils
Alternate daily between (i.e. Clove Oil Monday, Wednesday, Friday; Oregano Oil Tuesday, Thursday, etc.)
Herbs and Other Daily



Non-diet Body-care Yoga, Chi Gung or T'ai Chi and Exercise
  • Yoga: 6 year yoga program (and beyond) of Light on Yoga. (Or practice Chi Gung or T'ai Chi.)
  • A 15-20 minute walk or jog per day. Skin Care (Also Removal of toxins through it)
  • Dry brush: before a bath.
  • Bathe every other day and add in one cup of Epsom Salt.
  • Pure Plant Oil quick rub-massage after bath

Air
  • Aromatherapy
  • Ventilate as often as possible. If contained indoors for many hours and days of the year due to cold weather consider buying an
    air filter.

Other
  • Palming for strained, weak, pressured eyes.
  • 30 minutes in the sauna whenever possible.
  • Monthly one-hour massages are like medicine.
  • If you experience headaches, or tension, or pressure in the head or eyes, sleep with three pillows under your head.


Measures to Avoid Environmental Pollutants
Electromagnetic Pollution
  • Buy an ear-piece for your cell phone (NOT bluetooth - get the kind that is an earphone like you'd use to listen to music).
  • Keep at least 2 feet from all electrical appliances, including computers (unless you are using the battery only). If you use a laptop
    never put it on your lap with AC current. Buy an external keyboard and mouse. Never stand in front of an operating microwave.
    Never put a clock-radio next to your head when sleeping.
  • Buy a car polarizer
  • Wear a multi polar magnet if you work around many electric devices, or an area with a high amount of EM radiation.

Hygiene
  • Use a crystal ammonium salt deodorant from tccd.com.
  • Do not use soaps with sodium laurel sulfate and other chemicals. I use Dr. Bronner's for soap, body wash, shampoo, shaving
    cream, cleaning the bathrooms, cleaning non-wood floors and for washing the dishes.
  • Do not buy toothpaste with fluoride.
